If the goods arrive to you in the form of separate boxes or pallets, then you, in turn, accept the goods by scanning the code pasted on the appropriate form of packaging.
Only manufacturers and importers receive GTINs. There are 2 ways to get a GTIN code, depending on whether the product belongs to a specific product group:
The product marking code may be damaged during transportation or absent altogether, while the product itself may have the status “In circulation” or “Out of stock” - if it was written off, but was returned.
In such a case, the owner of the labeled product must relabel the product. To do this, you need to order new marking codes in your account.
A Data Matrix is a two-dimensional code consisting of black and white "cells" or dots arranged in either a square or rectangular pattern, also known as a matrix. The information to be encoded can be text or numeric data. Usual data size is from a few bytes up to 1556 bytes. The length of the encoded data depends on the number of cells in the matrix. Error connection codes are often used to increase reliability: even if one or more cells are damaged so it is unreadable, the message can still be read. A Data Matrix symbol can store up to 2,335 alphanumeric characters.
The employee will scan the Data Matrix Code which will be on the excise stamp. Thus, this unit of goods will change its status in the system. After the sale, the status of the item will change to "Out of stock".
